SupportMe

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for visiting my SupportMe page!

I appreciate your interest and even more so your support.

I am looking for sponsorship to help fund my next race. But first let me tell you a little bit more about me.

The Race - Ironman Chattanooga TN:

I will be swimming 2.4 miles / 3.86km in the Tennessee River, biking through a rolling 112 miles / 180km of hills and running a full marathon of 26.2 miles / 42.16km, all in and around Chattanooga TN, totaling it to a whopping 140.6 miles / 226.27km.

And all that for fun!

Well, not just for fun, because I am dedicating my time back to you in return for your sponsorship & funding. I already have been posting some of my triathlon journey on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

My Ironman 70.3 Training

And I will once again share my journey as I go through the ups and downs of training for this very long distance. The gruesome long hours spent on the bike or in my running shoes or in the pool or lake, the heat, the cold, the rain, the missing motivation, the attitude and whatever it is that either gets me going or stops me getting up when I could just roll over and snooze a little longer. So don't forget to click that subscribe button on my YouTube channel.

As a certified personal trainer, strength & conditioning, health & fitness and triathlon coach (besides many other qualifications) I have been supporting many athletes to achieve their goals. I have been filming and posting hundreds of workouts and tips on my YouTube channel all free for anybody to use. So, go check it out - there might be something helpful for you too - from the couch potato workout to HIIT training , boot camp , meditation & breathwork , mobility & flexibility , your own massage , triathlon training to tips and tricks and other fun things.

You probably think "what am I getting out of it?!" - I will help you too with your health and fitness, from setting your goals to getting motivated to start working on it, beginning a routine, being held accountable, achieving smaller milestones to then finally achieve your big goal! Yeah, I do charge for personal training, health coaching, tri coaching and anything that rolls around that, but what you will get from me for free is help with a personalized workout or training plan, or just a regular check-in to hold you accountable if you already have a goal, or a functional movement screen! And for those who aren't fitness enthusiasts, I will have a small give away of organic homemade cream samples (local pick up only).

And I promise you that for every $$$$ Dollar raised, I will run one kilometer or ride one mile! But please don't believe that if you donate $100 I will run 100 miles or 100km all at once. OMG!!! I may be a (little) crazy but that's taking it a tiny bit too far. I will complete the distance over a period of time. And don't forget to follow me on social media so that you can hold me accountable too!

Oh, and let me tell you about my three big races.

Number 1: Half Ironman 70.3 in Augusta GA.

This was dedicated to a person very close to my heart, someone who struggled with a serious mental health condition. Throughout my training - especially during the runs in gruesome heat of 90-100F / 32-38C I thought of this person to push me mile after mile praying that my strength would magically give her the strength to fight through the struggle. During this race this song I'm Good (Blue) popped into my head, and I was singing out out loud "I'm good, yeah. I'm feelin' alright. I'ma have the best freakin' time of my life".  And I had this instant feeling of knowing that my person was going to be ok. It gave me strength and confidence and of course the biggest smile of happiness. Finding out after the race that she is on the road of recovery made it even better!

Keep Going!

Number 2: Half Ironman 70.3 in Wilmington NC.

This race was very different as it was so cold compared to Augusta. Those who know me will understand! The ocean water temperature as 63F / 17C was warmer than the air temperature. at 4am in the morning we are getting the shuttle bus to transition to set up our nutrition on our bikes and making sure they are ready to go. It is freezing cold and even the last shuttle to the swim start did not really make me feel any more comfortable. Waiting at the beach in just my wetsuit, with cold feet, cold hands, surrounded by darkness and around 2500 athletes who probably don't want to be there either feeling this cold and wondering why they signed up for this. As we started getting into the water the sun barely started to rise. I literally swam not seeing any of the buoys guiding our way.

The bike part was windy and somewhat lonely. Knowing that I had a small problem with some bearings on my bike I rode carefully not wanting to crash or break down. I overtook athletes, I was overtaken too, but there were long strips of riding when I though to myself "Am I on the right path?!" "Is my bike going to make it?!" And that is when God came to me, connecting with me in a special way, comforting me with his voice that I will be safe and that I am doing just fine! I felt like someone laid a warm hand on my back guiding me, or maybe even giving me a little push! Of course I made it!

Number 3: Half Ironman 70.3 in Louisville KY.

Everyone kept raving about this red-carpet finish line, so I was excited to be racing this one! I rode my pink mohawk helmet and all the funny shout outs and positive encouragements made me feel on top of the world. I was a rockstar. The course was super hilly, but with a max speed of 49.7mph / 80kmh and a naverage of 20.3mph / 32.7kmh I really felt like I was flying! (Finding out after the race, I was the 2nd fasted woman on the bike during this race!) And in my head, I was singing "Volare oh, oh. Cantare oh, oh. Nel blu dipinto di blu. Felice di stare lassu" an old favorite song of mine. Throughout the run I got stiches, which I never get. It was probably from that Coke that was handed to me and I downed it thinking it was water. So, I had to walk it off for a bit.

A few miles from the finish line I saw two beautiful greyhounds, and with my Eros crossing the rainbow bridge earlier this year I got very emotional and couldn't stop crying. I kept telling myself that this run is for Eros &

Jeffery and I just kept going. Seeing the red-carpet put a smile on my face hoping the sadness would disappear. I high fived all the hands from the cheering crowd and crossed the finish line with literally all the emotions of happiness and sadness at the same time. It was the weirdest but also the most amazing feeling. And most of all hugging my wonderful husband who not only puts up with my craziness but supports me in every way possible, that made everything alright!
